The lithium prices not only reclaimed the losses in the previous session but also created new near-term high partly thanks to persistently strong demand in the downstream sector, especially the energy storage market. Nevertheless, high lithium prices have significantly slowed the downstream procurement, with downstream players relying on feedstock via long-term orders or tolling business.
